Kenny Chesney Joins Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes for Heartwarming Thanksgiving Dinner

Over the weekend, it felt like everyone was asking each other who they'd want at their ‘Dream Thanksgiving Dinner Party’. But after seeing Kelsea Ballerini's, we need look no further.

During her brief break from live shows, Kelsea Ballerini hosted a Thanksgiving dinner with her boyfriend and Outer Banks star, Chase Stokes, and country legend, Kenny Chesney.

Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney have been good buddies for years now, with the duo collaborating on the ACM-award-winning ode to where they grew up, ‘half of my hometown’.

Last year, the two country icons spent months on the road together as part of Kenny's hugely popular I Go Back North American tour, with Chase endearingly joining them for numerous shows, and even making a surprise on-stage appearance in South Carolina.

In a newly shared Thanksgiving photo carousel on Instagram, Kelsea Ballerini paid tribute to the joyous occasion, joking that she rated her turkey “5/10”, but the Thanksgiving Karaoke got “1,000/10”. Kelsea concluded the caption with a warm toast to the holiday, “grateful for so so much, mostly the love that we get and we give away”.

Heartwarmingly, Kelsea Ballerini's beloved dog, Dibs, was also present. Kelsea's fanpage - Kelsea Central - raised over $32,000 for the Best Friends Animal Society in his honour, after Dibs was diagnosed with inoperable heart cancer earlier in the year.

Kelsea Ballerini's long-time producer, Alysa Vanderheym, attended the Thanksgiving feast too, with Alysa playing a pivotal role in the creation of Kelsea's new album, PATTERNS, which has received widespread acclaim and hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

This week, the ‘Peter Pan’ hitmaker flies to London, UK for a highly anticipated one-off show at the iconic Roundhouse venue on December 7th. Could Kelsea Ballerini potentially bring Kenny Chesney over with her as a surprise, with the No Shoes Nation figurehead making his long-awaited UK debut? Surely not. But then again...? No, surely not. Regardless, it's set to be a stellar performance, and serves as a welcome early Christmas present for Kelsea's loyal UK fanbase, who haven't seen her this side of The Pond since her February 2023 show.
