Kenny Chesney has postponed his tour to 2022.

The original Arena tour was scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Now, Chesney has delayed the tour yet again, due to the uncertainty surrounding the ongoing Covid 19 situation.

“We have waited for so long, I can’t play knowing I would disappoint a portion of No Shoes Nation who wouldn’t be able to get into the stadiums and the amphitheaters,” Chesney said in a statement.

“There’s no way around that this year. As much I hate postponing further, I would hate telling people who waited we won’t be able to let them come due to capacity restrictions. That’s just not fair.”

Originally billed as the Chillaxification Tour, the 2022 tour will now have a new name, new line-up and new music.

He will still visit every arena that was on the original tour schedule, meaning he will visit 18 cities across the States.

Chesney’s latest album ‘Here and Now’ came out in May of last year and has produced the singles ‘Tip of my Tongue’, ’Here and Now’, ‘Happy Does’ and his latest release ‘Knowing You’.
