Before playing a new song at his show last night at Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kane Brown shared some special information about his new album.

“I’m really excited about this album,” he told fans, “I’ve honestly had to push it just because I was trying to get all the right songs and I wanted everything to be cohesive.”

Originally expected at the start of July, the album was delayed while Brown worked on the selection of tracks. During his show, Brown spoke about how his friends helped him realise that he just needed to trust his gut. He recalled them saying, “bro…when have you ever done a cohesive album?”.

So, the “Miles On It” singer relaxed into his craft, telling fans that he “started throwing a bunch of songs on it together”.

“You’re gonna hear some old school sounding songs mixed with some new school sounding songs,” he shared, dangling a snippet of extra info, “I might throw one hip hop song on there”.

Kane Brown is renowned for his modern take on country music, mixing traditional sentiments with upbeat tempos and reimagining classic styles, putting him at the forefront of contemporary country music. His most recent album, ‘The High Road’, came out in January 2025. With only four singles since then, each exploring a different strength of Brown’s musicality, we’re very excited to hear that the new project could be in our hands later this year.
