Paulette shared the announcement through an emotional social media clip, during which Whitters surprises the Texas prodigy with a special video message recorded at the Opry.
Hailey Whitters underlines her excitement at being the one to deliver the momentous news, outlining, “Hey cowgirl, it's Hailey Whitters here, hanging at the Opry, where I actually first met you a few months back. I'm in Dressing Room 4, ‘Into the Circle’, and we were wondering what you might have going on August 18?”
The ‘Everything She Ain't’ hitmaker then went on to teasingly ask, “Would you step into the circle and make your Grand Ole Opry debut?’, before Jenna Paulette turned to the camera and jubilantly responded, ‘Yes, I will, Hailey Whitters!’
It's a well-deserved invitation for Jenna Paulette, who has earned a burgeoning fanbase in recent weeks as a result of her recently released debut album, The Girl I Was.
The acclaimed project features a variety of tracks that have quickly blossomed into fan-favourites, including ‘Anywhere the Wind Blows’, ‘You Ain't No Cowboy’ and ‘Slow Drawl’. Ticket-holders will be looking forward to hearing Paulette perform a selection of tracks from The Girl I Was on August 18, alongside Carrie Underwood and Henry Cho.
