Jelly Roll has announced that he’s going 'down under' on his Australia and New Zealand tour later this year. His announcement, however, has caused a little confusion for his fans.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the Nashville native posted an image of his tour poster to promote his shows on the other side of world. But those with a keen eye spotted that - somewhat bizarrely - all of the dates were in the same place, Rottnest Island.

Was this a marketing error or do the people of Rottnest Island just really love Jelly Roll? Neither. It transpires that Rottnest Island is home to quokkas and Jelly is very, very excited to see them. Which makes sense as, on closer inspection, it seemed that his support act on this one destination tour was also a smiley, happy quokka.

Holler Country Music

Jelly has since removed the spoof tour poster from his Story and replaced it with the actual poster, which shows that he’ll be visiting a variety of cities across Australia and New Zealand, taking friends Shaboozey and Drew Baldridge out with him.

The aptly coloured green and yellow tour poster now sits proudly on his social media page, captioned “AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! Nashville is on the way baby. Pre-sale is live. Link is where links are. I’m coming for the Quokkas LFG”. It all makes sense now.

The thought of Jelly Roll meeting a quokka in real life is possibly one of the most endearing things to come out of country music since the little girl that gave Lainey Wilson her phone number on stage.

Jelly kicks off the eagerly anticipated run of shows - which will mark his first ever time performing in Australia and New Zealand - on October 25th at the Sunshine Coast's Strummingbird Festival. The ‘Save Me’ hitmaker has tour-stops lined up in Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Auckland throughout the Fall.

Later this month, Jelly Roll achieves another major career milestone, as he launches his debut UK and European run of shows with concerts in London, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam and more as part of Post Malone's blockbuster 2025 Big Ass Stadium World Tour. Post has confirmed Jelly will be joining him on the road once again in 2026.
