Moments after their eagerly anticipated new song was released, Jelly Roll brought out Alex Warren for an energising rendition of ’Bloodline’ at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Ever since they debuted the inspiring anthem during Jelly's star-studded Stagecoach Festival 2025 set in April, fans have been clamouring for Warren and Jelly to drop ‘Bloodline’. As of last night (May 22nd), it's thankfully now out in the world.

As he introduced his surprise guest, Jelly Roll paid tribute to the ‘Ordinary’ hitmaker and underlined why the message behind ‘Bloodline’ immediately struck a chord with him.

Jelly Roll movingly reflected, “When this young man called me about thsi song, he said, ’I want to write a song about breaking generational curses’...I come from a long family of alcoholics and drug addicts, and I am glad to be the one that didn't let my bloodline determine who I was as a human, and I broke that generational curse”.

The ‘Need a Favor’ crooner went on, “And this young man broke that generational curse. I'm proud to have a guy with one of the biggest songs in the world come out as my special guest in Chicago tonight. Mr Alex Warren is with me tonight, y'all!”

Their friendship radiated warmly throughout the performance, with the duo undoubtedly capturing the motivational, galvanising spirit of ‘Bloodline’ on the Wrigley Field stage.

‘Bloodline’ is expected to feature on Alex Warren's forthcoming You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 2) studio album, with the newly unveiled track set to continue the momentum from the former TikTok prodigy's viral, lovestruck smash, ‘Ordinary’.

Elsewhere during Jelly Roll's powerhouse set, the Nashville native reeled off earworms such as ‘Son of a Sinner’, ‘I Am Not Okay’, ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’, ‘Liar’, ‘Heart of Stone’ and ‘Save Me’, before returning to the stage during Post Malone's headline show for their nightly rendition of ‘Losers’. Next, Post and Jelly bring their Big Ass Stadium Tour to Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park tomorrow (May 24th).
