Jake Vaadeland and his Sturgeon River Boys are bringing the vibes to the UK in May as they unveil their Retro Man Tour 2024.

A Canada native, Vaadeland will be heading across the pond on May 4, beginning with a headlining appearance at the highly-anticipated Crossover Festival 2024, celebrating some of the best names from around the world in bluegrass and Americana music.

Throughout the month, the bluegrass-meets-50s-rockabilly outfit will criss-cross around the UK with stops lined up at Saltaire's The Live Room, Newcastle's Cluny 2, Sheffield's Cafe #9, the Green Note in London and Future Yard in Birkenhead.

While overseas, Vaadeland will also be performing at Tredegar House Folk Festival in Newport and Wood Festival in Wallingford.

Marrying his traditional sound and unique style, Vaaderland will be bringing his stack of beloved fan-favorites onto the stage with him each night, including 'Retro Man', 'Be a Farmer or a Preacher', 'House and Pool' and others from his growing catalog.

In 2022, he took home a pair of Saskatchewan Music Awards, including Album of the Year for his debut LP, Everybody But Me, as well as Folk/Roots Artist of the Year. The same year, he also earned 4 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, including Fans Choice Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year.

Elsewhere in 2024, Vaadeland and the Boys will spend the month of February supporting alt-country outfit, The Dead South, on their Chains and Stakes World Tour 2024.
