In the aftermath of Braxton Keith’s viral moment, where the traditional-leaning crooner called out his crowd for throwing cans toward the stage, proclaiming that it ‘ain’t a Gavin Adcock concert’, Adcock himself seems to have taken great joy in responding.
Posting via socials, Adcock has released his latest rowdy video captioned, ‘it sure ain’t’, a clear dig at Keith's remarks. A compilation of clips from his shows, Adcock shows his fan-favourite unhinged behaviour under the text, ‘This ain’t a Gavin Adcock concert’.
This video comes after Adcock's initial curt response via Instagram, where he commented, “Maybe he should learn how to handle HIS fans without bringing anybody else into it. I do it every night without bringing anybody else up. Welcome to the big leagues kid”.
It all feels on the friendly side of brotherly banter and has only fuelled Adcock’s image of a raucous performer. Even Morgan Wallen knows it. Talking to Theo Von about Adcock, he outlined, “He’s wild man, I love that guy…he’s definitely outlandish”.
The viral clip sits on Braxton Keith’s social media and in the caption references Adcock as a ‘brother’ so we can infer that the two are (hopefully) not destined for a public breakup – which would really scupper their plans to tour together this year.
Braxton Keith opens for Gavin Adcock later in the Summer. We'd be surprised if Keith doesn't address the comments, especially if the crowd reacts in a similar way. Given Adcock's reputation for raucous atmospheres, it's a distinct possibility...
