The news we've been eagerly anticipating for months has now arrived, with Morgan Wallen revealing his fourth studio album, I'm the Problem, will be dropping on May 16th, 2025.

In celebration of the unveiling, the Sneedville native is treating fans to two recently teased tracks, ‘Just in Case’ and ‘I'm a Little Crazy’, at midnight (Thursday, March 20th).

In an accompanying statement, Morgan Wallen has touched on the driving spirit of the forthcoming record, with the ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ hitmaker consolidating what's been apparent throughout the rollout so far - that I'm the Problem is already shaping up to be Wallen's most candid and vulnerable body of work to date.

The singles that we've been able to hear so far, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, ‘Love Somebody’, ‘Smile’ and ‘I'm the Problem’, all find Morgan Wallen painstakingly examining himself in the mirror, looking inwards with a new depth of perception and openness.

Rather than looking to shift the blame or bemoan an ex's refusal to accept him for who he is, he's turned the microscope on himself, exploring what he needs to do to become a better man.

“I have been a problem, for sure, and I've got no problem admitting that”, Wallen explains, “But there are other sides to me as well. I've spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, 'Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?'”

The 2024 CMA Entertainer of the Year goes on to elucidate a stark, dawning realisation, “I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it”.

The next two previews of I'm the Problem, ‘I'm a Little Crazy’ and ‘Just in Case’, which arrive tonight (Thursday, March 20th), accentuate the sober, reflective ambience that seemingly pervades the project. The album will be 37 songs long, kicking off with the bitter, accusatory ‘I'm the Problem’ and concluding with the introspective ‘I'm a Little Crazy’, which was co-written by Wallen's close friend, HARDY.

Morgan Wallen has never been afraid to dig into uncomfortable emotional territory and explore the anguish of heartbreak, alcohol dependence and battles with faith. Nonetheless, it appears he's about to get even more honest on I'm the Problem.

We'll be keeping our fingers tightly crossed that we get to hear another few singles before the full 37-track project drops on May 16th, which coincides with the opening day of Morgan Wallen's inaugural Sand in My Boots Festival in Gulf Shoes, Alabama.
