Upon the release of his new single, Hudson Westbrook left a lingering album announcement as the latest update to his Spotify - his sophomore album is to be released on Nov. 6th.

As the clock counts down to when his loyal fans will be able to call his upcoming album Made You Look theirs, a track list preview shows that the record will consist of 16 songs, the title track and recently released single 'Made You Look' being the first.

Along with that first track, three others on the album are now available for streaming - with his July release 'Hits Me' marking the 10th track spot, and two new releases Westbrook snuck in, 'Hey Dallas' and 'Backwards.'

The 8th track 'Hey Dallas' tells a classic story as Westbrook sings of a love that he is at the mercy of. The girl he finds himself falling for has just touched down in his beloved home state of Texas, as he personifies the city of Dallas and vents to it as if it's a friend that'll help pick him up out of her clutches.

"Hey Dallas, we got a problem
We both know how the story ends
This Lone Star heart's gonna start to fall
If she starts talkin' pretty again"

The 15th track of the record 'Backwards' speaks from the perspective of Westbrook as he goes through the motions of the lowest point of a breakup. He tries to get through the hard time doing anything and everything he can to pick himself back up, whether it's falling into his vices of using different substances for temporary relief, or mustering up the self-control to simply sleep on his own side of the bed. He sings to how the girl that left him turned his world upside down and left him moving backwards.

The upcoming album seems to be one that Westbrook feels rather sentimental to release, his social media announcement post featuring a montage of his best live performance moments based around his fans, and a caption telling them how thankful he is to make music - especially for them.

While we're uncertain what the other 12 tracks of the record will consist of, we can infer based on these releases, as well as his 2026 EP Exclusive that they may carry similar themes of love and heartache with Westbrook's classic spin on both lyrics and sound, making them completely digestible and relatable to people of all different scopes, scales and situations - and of course, we're always happy to watch Westbrook continue his journey as he continues to cement himself as one of country music's most promising up-and-comers.
