Garth Brooks has announced his next tour-stop on the 2026 Blame It All On My Roots run, with the ‘90s country icon set to headline Washington D.C.'s Capital One Arena this September

The ’Friends In Low Places' hitmaker will dazzle fans in D.C. for two nights, September 18th and 19th. Tickets go on-sale this Friday, August 21st, at 10am ET.

Much like his previously unveiled Blame It All On My Roots tour-stops, all tickets to Brooks’ two Capital One Arena shows are expected to be priced the same. What's more, Brooks will once again be enforcing a virtual waiting room and eschewing the traditional ticket pre-sale, in an effort to try and thwart ticket scalpers.

If Brooks’ other 2026 Blame It All On My Roots shows are anything to go by, we'd imagine he'll be adding at least one more date in Washington D.C. This seems to be the pattern during his initial ticket sales, observing the demand for his shows and providing more opportunities for fans accordingly. During the ticket on-sale for Denver, Colorado, for instance, Brooks added two extra shows due to immense demand. He did the same for Indianapolis, Indiana earlier in July and again for his Chicago shows which went on sale last week.

The newly unveiled shows come hot on the heels of Brooks’ blockbuster summer run, which included a colossal headlining appearance at London's BST Hyde Park 2026 in June, bringing a record breaking audience to the UK's capital.

The Oklahoma native is widely expected to continue adding new dates to his Blame It All On My Roots Tour as he goes, with this marking the exciting return of Brooks’ famous ‘90s Drum Pod. Brooks is also reportedly recording a new live album at these 2026 shows in the style of his game-changing 1998 project, Double Live.
