Country megastar Garth Brooks will release his 14th studio album on November 7 2023 as part of a seven-disc box-set, which will be available as a Bass Pro Shops exclusive.
The new album, Time Traveler, is expected to consist entirely of original material, although the official tracklist is yet to be confirmed. Unlike previous exclusive releases from Garth, it appears Time Traveler will not even be available to stream on Amazon Music, with purchasing the box-set currently the only way to hear the project.
In addition to Time Traveler, the Bass Pro Shops box-set will include all three of Garth Brooks’ post-retirement records, 2014's Man Against Machine, 2016's Gunslinger and 2020's Fun.
Completing the special collection will be the Oklahoma native's three-disc concert series, Triple Live, with the box-set representing the third and final instalment of Garth's Limited Series.
Just over two weeks after the release of Time Traveler in Bass Pro Shops, Garth Brooks will open his eagerly anticipated Nashville bar, the Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk.
Garth due to perform a launch concert on November 24 to celebrate the new site's official opening, with tickets being exclusively placed up for grabs via The Big 615 radio station.
Speaking ahead of the Time Traveler announcement, Garth Brooks explained what the upcoming record represents to him, “There are a lot of different eras on this album, thus the name. Country music's core is sincerity; after that, you can dress it up a thousand different ways. I am so lucky to live under the flag of Country Music”.
