During a conversation with Holler while backstage at Lexington, Kentucky's much-loved Railbird Festival, country-folk prodigy Nolan Taylor touched on his plans for new music in 2024.

The rising star, who's most recent original release was ‘In The Other Room’ in April ahead of his celebrated Live From The Living Room EP the following month, continues to tease clips and snippets via socials, with fans clamouring for his debut album.

Thankfully, in his conversation with Holler before his stellar Railbird Festival set, the Ohio singer-songwriter confirmed he's hoping to drop his first full-length record sooner rather than later, as well as seemingly hinting at the arrival of further tracks prior to this.

Nolan Taylor shared, “As far as new music, I'll absolutely, positively have new music out this year. As for when and what, that's the other question. But we will for sure have a project out, and yeah, I'm just really excited. Hopefully we get ourselves a full-length out there and get the first record out. We've dropped a couple of live EPs, EPs and one I did with Eddie Spear. I think it's time to get the full-length out”.

Each release from Nolan Taylor is met with widespread fanfare, with listeners championing recent releases such as ‘Cincinnati Heart’, ‘Life/Love’ and ‘Sorry‘ as testament to the fact that Taylor is poised to become one of the next stars in the country-folk space.

Excitingly, in his chat with Holler, Nolan Taylor also delved into his collaboration plans, sharing that he's keen to work with both Sam Barber and Justin Vernon's Bon Iver. Later that day, Taylor even brough out Barber for a duet during his set on Railbird's Burl Stage.

Taylor underlined, “One I'm really trying to lock down - and we've been chasing this for a very long time, it's just a case of timing - is Sam Barber. I'd really like to write a song with Sam. I'd also really love to write a song with Justin Vernon and Evan Stephens Hall from Pinegrove. Really, I could go on about this for days, honestly!”

We'd love to see both of those come to fruition, and with Nolan Taylor hitting the road with his good buddies, the Red Clay Strays, we're hoping they get the chance to hit the studio together too as Taylor continues to ready his hotly anticipated debut album.

While fans wait, they'll be able to enjoy another new track from Nolan Taylor, ‘Driving You Home’, which drops on July 19th as part of the Twisters: The Album soundtrack.
