"Once upon a time, a glamorous cowgirl dreamed of finding her very own 'Urban Cowboy' and well, the rest is history," Cali Tucker wrote on Instagram earlier this week. " I can’t wait to share the rest of this fairytale with you in just two days."

Two days later and now it's here! Released by Cali Tucker as a single last month, 'Urban Cowboy' is a peppy pop country fantasy dancefloor filler that tells a heartfelt story of longing for modern-day cowboy love as it reimagines traditional fairytales with a contemporary Western twist.

"The Urban Cowboy is the embodiment of all the fairytales I grew up with," Cali Tucker says. "The video tells the story of a young girl who is transported to a magical land filled with mythical creatures, none of whom have ever encountered the Urban Cowboy. Together, they embark on a journey to help her find him. It’s a tale filled with hope, adventure, humor, and the relentless pursuit of love - a true romantic comedy at heart.”

A cowboy might seem like an unlikely character to inhabit a fairytale, but if like Cali Tucker, you grew up as the daughter of cult country music singer LaCosta Tucker and the niece of the iconic Tanya Tucker then it actually makes a lot of sense that the princes in your fantasies would be handsome horse-riding vaqueros.

The video even stars LaCosta Tucker as a fairy godmother reading bedtime stories to a young Cali - played by Cali's niece Adelin Tucker - as she falls asleep and dreams of a "Fairytale Land Where Dreams Do Come True."

"If you believe fairytales can come true," the fairy godmother reads, "instead of looking for him, he'll be looking for you."

In this fantasy realm Cali Tucker and her unicorn encounter a leprechaun with a magical golden egg and together they embark on a quest that takes them to other mythical characters like Big Foot (played by Brian Cody), the Easter Bunny (played by Efren Torres) and Johnny Gonsalves as Santa Claus, who gifts Cali the same book of fairtyales entitled The Man, The Myth, The Legend that her fairy godmother had been reading her as a child at the top of the video.

It's only a matter of time before Cali comes across the mythical urban cowboy she'd been dreaming of and like all fairytales, they walk off into the distance and live happily ever after.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Cali Tucker's journey into the spotlight began early. As a teenager, she earned the title of Miss Teen All American, made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 18 and toured with her Aunt Tanya, where she gained invaluable experience both as a lead and background vocalist. In 2014, she was selected to join Team Blake on NBC’s The Voice. Now, as a Las Vegas headliner, she continues to push boundaries and redefine what it means to be a modern country artist.

'Urban Cowboy' is the follow up to previous single 'Country Couture' from earlier in the year.

Cali’s talents extend beyond music. She is also a budding entrepreneur, working on her own clothing line, which reflects her modern take on classic country style. Fans eagerly await the launch, which promises to bring Cali’s fashion-forward vision to life.

'Urban Cowboy' by Cali Tucker is available now.
