After two two summers without one of Kenny Chesney's classic stadium tours, it seems the ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’ hitmaker is finally returning to the road in 2027.
An array of stadiums have started teasing an imminent announcement on Tuesday, September 15th regarding Chesney's 2027 tour. The official Instagram pages for venues like Foxborough's Gillette Stadium, Tampa's Raymond James Stadium, Minneapolis’ US Bank Stadium and Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium have shared official “invitations” to Chesney's “Vibe Room”, alongside dates.
The dates are presumably the dates Chesney will be headlining those venues in 2027, while the “Vibe Room” reference is seemingly a callback to his Las Vegas Sphere residencies.
Throughout those momentous Sphere residencies, fans could experience the “Vibe Room”, inspired by the name Chesney gives to his backstage space while he's out on the road.

Judging by the venues and dates that have been teased so far, it looks like Chesney is following his classic tour route, kicking things off at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 24th. As is tradition, it seems he will finish the run at the home of ‘No Shoes Nation’, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on August 28th.
Chesney's last stadium run was a co-headlining tour with Zac Brown Band in 2024, with Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker as support. You can't help but feel that, if Chesney is to sell out the venues on this list, he'll likely need a co-headliner again in 2027.
It's possible Moroney could be joining him, and at the moment, the ‘Am I Okay?’ singer-songwriter's only 2027 tour-dates are in Australia. Those end in May, leaving her summer open.
Given Chesney and Moroney's close friendship, and the fact that she appears on Chesney's new album, Silver Sands Marina, it would undoubtedly be great to see them on-stage again.
Even then, it takes an awful lot to sell out stadiums of this size, with only the likes of Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs and Noah Kahan really able to do it consistently in recent years as solo headliners from the country and folk-leaning worlds. Even Post Malone has struggled on his Big Ass Stadium Tour, Part 2 with Jelly Roll.
So there's an argument that Chesney would need an artist with a bigger draw and a more established fanbase than Moroney in order to pack out venues like US Bank Stadium.
Alternatively, one of Chesney's other frequent collaborators, Old Dominion, have a free summer next year at the moment, and No Shoes Nation always love seeing Old Dominion.
Zac Brown Band, by contrast, have a couple of clashes already pencilled in for 2027, and we don't imagine they'd be linking up with Chesney for another stadium run together.
There's also the matter of Florida Georgia Line teasing 2027 tour-dates as part of their reunion run. Shortly before they split up, the duo were due to open for Chesney's Chillaxification Tour in 2020, a run that was ultimately postponed due to COVID-19.
Could they be running it back and co-headlining with Chesney in 2027? This feels unlikely, given the immense buzz around FGL's blockbuster show at Stagecoach 2027, and surely this reunion tour will see the ‘Cruise’ trailblazers being the only headliners.
Either way, the anticipation is high ahead of Chesney's Tuesday, September 15th announcement, with fans looking forward to the Beach Country chart-topper's return to the road.
