Ella Langley Teases Next Era with Mysterious New Countdown

Given the unstoppable popularity of Ella Langley's latest single, ’Choosin’ Texas’ - which follows a hugely successful 2025 that saw her taking home three CMA Awards - you could forgive the Alabama native if she decided to rest on her laurels.

But thankfully, Langley isn't built like that. With ’Choosin’ Texas’ still staying strong in the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100, the ‘you look like you love me’ singer-songwriter has shared an exclusive message with her fan-club members hinting at her next era.

In the email, Langley expresses her gratitude for all the support listeners have been giving to ‘Choosin’ Texas’, before confirming there's plenty on the horizon, “Thank you for all the love on ‘Choosin’ Texas’. I've got a lot more coming soon that I cannot wait to tell y'all about. For now, stay warm with somethin’ simple to drink. My favorite these days is dandelion tea. Seasons are changing soon”.

This has been accompanied by the arrival of a mysterious countdown on Langley's official website, which is timed to conclude on Tuesday, January 27th at 11am CT / 5pm GMT.

We suspect this has something to do with Langley's next album, with the ‘paint the town blue’ hitmaker having confirmed she's planning to drop her hungover follow-up record in 2026.

The highly anticipated project is expected to feature ‘Choosin’ Texas’ and Langley's previous release, ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ with HARDY, along with the fan-favourite track, ‘Low Lights’. We're keeping our fingers crossed it's not too much longer before we get to hear another album from Langley, who has cemented herself as one of the biggest artists in modern country following her last full-length project. Either way, it's safe to say next Tuesday can't come soon enough...
