Ella Langley Confirms Release Date for Viral New Song, ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’

After sharing a couple of snippets of the new track via socials, Ella Langley has confirmed she'll be releasing her next single, ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’, this Friday, June 27th.

It's welcome news for Langley's loyal fanbase, with this seemingly marking the first preview we're receiving from the ‘you look like you love me’ hitmaker's next musical chapter.

In a new post announcing the release date for ’Never Met Anyone Like You’, the Alabama native revealed she co-write the romantic, stripped-back offering with HARDY and Jordan Schmidt.

When Langley shared a clip of HARDY recording some vocals earlier in the week, fans started theorising that this might be a collaboration between the two artists. However, it now looks like HARDY was simply lending his pen to the track and perhaps providing some backing singing, rather than appearing as a featured act.

The song finds Ella Langley outlining to her lover how lucky she feels to have met him, as she croons fondly, “Darlin’, you're on in a million / God couldn't do it again if He tried to”.

Of course, with all the rumours and conjecture swirling around Langley and Riley Green, many followers have already proposed the suggestion that this song could be about Green.

We reckon this is looking too deeply into it, though, with fans simply trying to keep the narrative that the ‘Don't Mind If I Do‘ collaborators and 2025 tour-mates are secretly an item.

Regardless, we can't wait to hear the full studio version of ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ this Friday, with Langley's still hungover follow-up album hopefully now on the horizon.
