Ella Langley and Riley Green have secured this week's No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, dated July 12-18, with their viral collaboration, ‘You Look Like You Love Me’. The much-loved song will appear on Ella Langley's keenly awaited new record, hungover, which will be released across streaming platforms on August 2.

The traditional-leaning, part-spoken track is a classic country duet that feels as though it's been created in the mould of George Jones and Tammy Wynette and Johnny Cash and June Carter's iconic link-ups. Ella Langley has admitted she never initially intended to release ‘You Look Like You Love Me’, which she penned as a light-hearted joke, but was - thankfully - convinced by her label to include it on the album.

Speaking to Holler ahead of their momentous BST Hyde Park 2024 joint performance in London, UK, Riley Green explained how the hugely popular track came about, “The song with Ella was one of those things that can only happen out on the road, out on tour, just really organically. I heard the song, and I think she kinda thought maybe it would be a good collaboration with somebody, so I wrote a second verse for it. It's just a really fun song. She does a great job with it”.

During this week's frame, ‘You Look Like You Love Me’ has racked up 761,780 impressions, marking a sizeable 67% increase compared to the previous tracking period.

Ella Langley and Riley Green's playful duet is followed by Lainey Wilson's stampeding, high-energy single, ‘Hang Tight Honey’, at No. 2. The track is set to appear on Lainey's hotly anticipated new album, Whirlwind, which arrives on August 23.

The UK Country Radio Airplay Top Five this week is completed by Post Malone and Blake Shelton's raucous, good-time anthem, ‘Pour Me a Drink’, at No. 3, Shaboozey's ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ at No. 4 and Luke Combs’ ‘Ain't No Love in Oklahoma’ at No. 5.

The biggest mover during this frame is Parmalee's ‘Gonna Love You’, which notched an impressive 308% boost in impressions to propel the track inside the Top 30. This week's UK Country Radio Airplay Chart also saw new entries from MacKenzie Porter (‘Easy To Miss’ at No. 27), Brandi Carlile and Lucius (‘You and Me on the Rock at No. 36), Drake Milligan (‘Jukebox Songs and Barstool Beers’ at No. 37), Zach Bryan (‘28’ at No. 39) and Sunny Sweeney (‘My Own Lane’ at No. 47).
