Post Malone has joined forces with Oreo for a brand new range of cookies, with the limited edition selection of salted caramel delights set to be made available on February 3rd, 2025.
The ‘I Had Some Help’ hitmaker has shared a teaser of the forthcoming advertisement promoting the collaboration, which follows Post Malone on an expedition as he attempts to find the perfect Oreo nugget and craft the greatest cookie in history.
In the clip, Director Chris Villa - who has taken the helm for a slew of cinematic Post Malone music videos, including ‘I Had Some Help’ with Morgan Wallen and ‘Guy For That’ with Luke Combs - touches on the hilarious premise behind Posty's new Oreo ad. The full video has not been released yet, but will seemingly drop in tandem with the cookie range on February 3rd. Pre-sale access starts on January 27th.
The newly curated treat, which Post Malone has created alongside the Oreo team, features a twisted salted caramel filling, sandwiched between chocolate and golden cookies.
In an interview with Billboard, the New York singer-songwriter has shed light on the extensive thought and consideration that went into this tasteful link-up, “I really wanted to create a flavor that shows off my different sides – that was important to me”.
Post went on, “We tried like 50 different combinations. I’ve been really into salted caramel lately, so I knew that had to be part of it. The shortbread balanced out the flavor and made the perfect twist. The twist is by far my favorite part. It’s the first time Oreo has ever done this. When I couldn’t decide between classic chocolate and the golden cookie, we said, ‘Why not do both?’ That was a fun day of work”.
The ‘Congratulations’ crooner also expressed his excitement at being involved with Oreo's campaign, “Who wouldn’t want to make their own Oreo cookie? I’ve been a big fan of these cookies my whole life so when the opportunity came up I couldn’t believe it”.
Each individual cookie will feature one of nine special embossments that Post Malone has chosen, including a floral homage to his Double-Diamond hit with Swae Lee, ’Sunflower’, and a pick-up truck that calls to mind his iconic F-1Trillion album artwork.
