David Forehand, one of Morgan Wallen's long-time photographers, has shared a series of atmospheric new photos of the Sneedville megastar on a recent hunting trip.
Forehand, who runs Gatewood Creative, accompanied the Instagram carousel with a pointed caption, ‘Dark Til Daylight’. Eagle-eyed fans will remember that this was the name of the fictional gameshow hosted by Caleb Pressley in Morgan Wallen's ‘Smile’ music video, which arrived out of the blue on New Year's Eve.
For a while, many speculated that Dark Til Daylight would be the title of the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker's forthcoming album, but this has since been revealed to be I'm the Problem.
Even so, there is a song registered in the ASCAP repertory under the name ‘Dark Til Daylight’, which has been written by a combination of country music stapes and frequent Morgan Wallen collaborators, Rocky Block, Jimmy Robbins and Chris Tompkins.
We suspect, therefore, that even though it hasn't been chosen as the title for Morgan Wallen's next era, ‘Dark Til Daylight’ may still be a song featured on the eagerly awaited project. Wallen confirmed last week that I'm the Problem drops on Friday, May 16th.
The newly unveiled hunting photos were seemingly captured while the country chart titan has been spending some well-deserved time away from the road, following the conclusion of his global, record-breaking One Night At A Time tour last October.
Given Morgan Wallen's penchant for being in the great outdoors, as has been depicted so powerfully in Forehand's new carousel, we imagine the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter may well have been inspired to pen any hunting-themed anthems for I'm the Problem in the mould of his 2024 hit, ‘I Wrote The Book’.
