Darius Rucker to Host 2025 CMA Songwriters Series at C2C Festival

‘Wagon Wheel’ hitmaker Darius Rucker will host the 2025 CMA Songwriters Series at London's C2C Festival, with the line-up featuring an array of stellar singer-songwriters, including Jesssi Alexander, Wyatt Flores, Mickey Guyton and Tucker Wetmore.

The CMA Songwriters Series writers’ round has blossomed into one of the stand-out events from C2C Festival in recent years, with the 2025 instalment set to take place on Thursday, March 23th at its usual home of London's Indigo at the O2 Arena.

Tickets to the 2025 CMA Songwriters Series are due to go on-sale from Friday, December 6th, 2024. As always, general C2C Festival passes will not include access to this event.

As well as seeing him take the helm to host, ticket-holders will be able to enjoy a handful of acoustic performances from country legend, Darius Rucker, with Rucker's rendition of ‘Wagon Wheel’ undoubtedly set to instigate a crowd-wide sing-a-long. The former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman has made an effort to regularly perform on this side of The Pond, establishing a strong relationship with his loyal UK fanbase.

Attendees will be eagerly looking forward to hearing Tucker Wetmore reel off a few of his viral smashes from the past year, such as ‘Wine Into Whiskey’ and ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’.

Additionally, fans will be excited to hear up-and-coming artist Wyatt Flores showcasing his classic Red Dirt sound, while Jessi Alexander will hopefully serenade the audience with a selection of her biggest cuts. Alexander has penned iconic anthems such as Morgan Wallen's ‘The Way I Talk’ and ’Don't Think Jesus’, Luke Combs’ ’Ain't No Love in Oklahoma’, Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’ and many more.

Last but not least, Mickey Guyton has been a renowned figure within the country space for a number of years now, and the Texas crooner will have a sprawling catalogue of fan-favourites to choose from when she takes the Indigo at the O2 Arena stage. For both Guyton and Wetmore, this will mark their UK live debuts.

Tucker Wetmore and Wyatt Flores will also be performing at the main C2C Festival 2025 event at London's O2 Arena the following evening on Friday, March 14th. At the moment, it's unclear whether Mickey Guyton, Darius Rucker or Jessi Alexander will be making any further appearances during the UK country extravaganza.
