Cody Johnson has shared a new trailer for his forthcoming documentary film Dear Rodeo.
The documentary, which shares its name with one of Johnson’s most popular songs, still has yet to receive a release date.
It follows the rodeo-turned-country star's journey, as he swapped his bull riding dreams for the stage.
Speaking of the trailer, Johnson says “Many of you have heard me mention the ‘Dear Rodeo’ documentary film I’ve been working on. I’m excited to share my ‘Dear Rodeo’ story with y’all. Here’s an exclusive premiere of the official trailer”.
In the video, we see clips of Johnson both on stage and at the rodeo as well as hearing from those who know him and know his journey and influences, including Reba McEntire.
The song the documentary is based upon was released last year, slowly climbing up the Country Airplay charts ever since.
Johnson is encouraging fans to share their rodeo stories on social media.
