Cody Johnson has canceled the international dates of his Cody Johnson Live '26 tour, highlighting health reasons in his reluctant statement to fans.
The Nov. 4th Belfast, U.K. date of his tour, which is tonight's show at the time of writing, along with tomorrow's Nov. 5th show in Dublin, Ireland have both been canceled, with the 'Dance Her Home' crooner noting that he is "extremely disappointed" to have to make such a tough decision.
The decision, according to Cojo, comes from having seen a doctor and being diagnosed with a "viral infection," as stated in a post via social media.
The Belfast and Dublin shows are the only two international dates on Cojo's 2026 tour, making a case of a real let-down for Johnson, as he stated how excited he was to play them. It's also a bummer for his international fans that were dying to see him, so Johnson is making it up to them in any way he can.
Of course, if we had any bet on how Cojo would handle the situation, it'd be as full-of-heart as he is. He said that not only will he be "doing all he can to come back to Ireland as soon as he can," but fans can get their tickets refunded at the exact point of purchase.
Because many anticipant fans have expressed extreme disappointment with the decision, it's important to note that artists are humans first, and it's imperative Cojo takes care of his health - especially when it's doctors orders. After all, no artist can perform at their best if they're running themselves into the ground physically.
Moreover, Cojo been on a solid run since beginning his 2026 tour in February and releasing his Banks of the Trinity album in June, doing all the hard work that comes with embarking on this type of tour and releasing a project of this scale. So, while we're hoping for a speedy recovery for the 'Human' songster, we also hope he takes these couple days as opportunity to rest, regroup, and get ready to finish the tour strong.
