One of the fastest rising acts on the TidalWave Festival 2023 line-up, Chase McDaniel took to the Next From Nashville stage on Friday afternoon for an charming set that exhibited just why country fans are getting excited about one of Big Machine's next rising stars.

McDaniel is the sort of artist who's prime ready to warm up the crowd, a burgeoning talent who has already found his feet with a devoted fanbase while constantly welcoming new fans at this summer's festivals.

So taking to the stage just as the tallboy Michelob Ultra's are being cracked at 3:45pm was no sweat for the Greensburg, Kentucky native.

McDaniel and his five-piece band delivered a party-starting set, performing some of their viral hits like 'Drop Your Tailgate' and 'Project' alongside their more tender, forthright songs like 'Your Daughter' for the increasingly growing audience.

While McDaniel and his producer / fellow bandmate Jerry Jacobs have made names for themselves in the studio with their trap-ready neo-country beats, their live show takes on a much more rockier stance - McDaniel understanding the need for getting the crowd a bit sweaty with a dirtier, bombastic sound.

He does this with aplomb, constantly striding the stage with a balance of radiant energy and cool assuredness that'll have everyone following him on TikTok right after the weekend's through.

The 2023 edition of TidalWave is providing plenty of sizzling performances from some of country's biggest stars and fastest-rising newcomers, as we celebrate the last days of summer.

After 2022's hell raising inaugural weekend, this year is racking up to once again be Atlantic City's new favorite country music festival, as we've already revelled in performances from Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, and Pillbox Patti, who have all taken to the stage on the Friday of the three-day beach bash.
