It's difficult to imagine 'Jamie' without both Charles Wesley Godwin and Zach Bryan singing the latter's Summertime Blues hit. Good thing fans at Buckeye Country Superfest didn't have to.
During his appearance at the Columbus, Ohio fest on Saturday (June 22), Godwin pulled the haunting duet out of his repertoire, inviting Bryan onstage for a surprise rendition of the tune the way it was meant to be heard.
In fan-captured video, the pair can be seen singing the striking tune during the mid-day set.
Elsewhere during the festival, Bryan, the event's back-to-back headliner, also welcomed a number of performers onto the stage during his weekend-long double-header. That Saturday night, the 'Something in the Orange' star brought out jamgrass favorite Billy Strings for the showcase's rousing closer of ‘Revival.’
The next night, he called out viral successes Ole 60 and Kashus Culpepper to assist him with the same final tune.
Throughout his cross-country Quittin' Time tour, Bryan has invited a number of cross-genre stars to the stage to help with 'Revival'. Sexxy Red, Bruce Springsteen, Maggie Rogers and Tate McRae have all joined the star for his closing number.
