Carly Pearce debuted a new song on the Grand Ole Opry over the weekend.

Pearce took to the hallowed stage on Saturday night, performing a four-song set alongside The Isaacs and Craig Morgan.

Having just released her latest record 29, Pearce promoted the record by performing ‘Next, Girl’ and the title-track, both with the Opry band.

She then performed the CMA Award-winning song she released with Lee Brice, ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’.

However, the moment of the night came when the band vacated the stage for Pearce to play an acoustic rendition of a song she’s never performed before, ‘Dear Loretta’.

She wrote the song with Shane McAnally and Brandy Clark as a letter to Loretta Lynn, who she has never met but is a big influence on her music.

The acoustic number was awarded a standing ovation by the socially distanced Opry crowd.

As Pearce left the stage, she spoke of how she hopes the summer will be a continuation of 29, as she teased new music.
