Kentucky prodigy, Brit Taylor, is set to step into the hallowed Opry ‘circle’ for the first time on March 22.
In an emotional video, Taylor revealed that she'd been asked to perform at the legendary venue.
In a statement, Brit Taylor expressed how overwhelmed she was to have received the coveted Opry invitation, “It is something I have dreamed about my whole life, and all I could do when I got the invitation was cry happy tears.
I am so honoured to step into that circle, to stand there where so many of my heroes and those who have inspired me and influenced me have stood, and share my music with the world”.
Taylor's invitation to make her Opry debut came shortly after the release of her sophomore album, Kentucky Blue.
The project has drawn widespread praise from critics, while the likes of ‘No Cowboys’ and ‘Anything But You’ have already cemented their status as fan-favourites.
Brit Taylor has been tipped by many as one of the most exciting prospects in modern country, having been included as one of Holler's 23 New Artists for 2023.
Taylor's distinctive, Appalachian-inspired sound has earned her a rapidly expanding fan-base.
Although Brit Taylor's song choices are yet to be confirmed, when the singer-songwriter makes her debut at the iconic Grand Ole Opry on March 22, she's expected to win over another army of listeners.
