Blake Shelton's first single with BBR Music Group / BMG Nashville, the traditional-leaning ‘Texas’, has secured a third week atop the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart.
During the frame dated Friday, February 7th to Thursday, February 13th, ‘Texas’ amassed a sizeable 918,714 impressions, a 3% increase compared to the previous week.
It ensures Blake Shelton's infectious, honky-tonkin’ anthem maintains a healthy lead over Drew Baldridge's ‘Tough People’, which is forced to settle at No. 2 with 880,807 impressions.
Completing the Top Five on this week's frame is Lainey Wilson's ‘4X4XU’, Jordan Davis’ ‘I Ain't Sayin’ and Carly Pearce's ‘Truck On Fire’ at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively. The latter will have received an added boost, courtesy of the fact that the ‘We Don't Fight Anymore’ singer-songwriter is currently on this side of The Pond, with Carly Pearce performing across Europe as part of her Hummingbird World Tour.
The biggest mover this week is Rascal Flatts’ star-studded, genre-blurring collaboration with The Jonas Brothers, ‘I Dare You’, which surges a staggering 10,899% to land at No. 22.
The latest frame also sees a plethora of brand new entries on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, with Ryan Hurd's ‘Die For It’ (No. 34), Warren Zeiders’ ‘Love on the Line’ (No. 38), Dierks Bentley's ‘She Hates Me’ (No. 42), Lanie Gardner's ‘Dreams’ (No. 43) and ‘Somewhere and Nowhere’ (No. 44), Alana Springsteen's ‘cowboy’ (No. 46) and Warren Zeiders’ ‘Can A Heart Take’ (No. 48) all making their debut.
