Blake Shelton's traditional-leaning twanger, ‘Texas’, has racked up an eighth week in the top spot of the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart. The infectious offering tallies an impressive number of impressions, finishing on 685,454 for the latest tracking period.
During the frame dated Friday, March 21st to Thursday, March 27th, Shelton's first single with BBR Label Group and BMG overcame stiff competition from Dasha's ’Not At This Party’.
The pop-leaning anthem narrowly missed out on the No. 1 gong, with the uptempo ‘Not At This Party’ surging by 40% and falling just over 35,000 impressions short of ‘Texas’.
Completing this week's stacked Top Five is Myles Smith and Lainey Wilson's revamped, folk-leaning duet, ‘Nice To Meet You’, which lands at No. 3, along with Bailey Zimmerman's ’Holy Smokes’ and Megan Moroney's ‘Am I Okay?’ at No. 4 and 5 respectively.
The biggest mover is Warren Zeiders’ ‘Without You’, which shot up by a colossal 3,815% to reach a new peak of No. 32. The bittersweet ode to everlasting love serves as one of the stand-outs from Zeiders’ new album, Relapse, Lies & Betrayal.
This frame also saw plenty of debuts, including Thomas Rhett's feel-good remix of ‘What Could Go Right’ with Lanie Gardner (No. 21), Jordan Davis’ ‘Bar None’ (No. 38), Lukas Nelson's ‘Ain't Done’ (No. 39), Willow Avalon's ‘Baby Blue’ (No. 40), Kaylee Rose's ‘Cheating’ (No. 44) and Sam Outlaw's ‘Waiting for Someone’ (No. 45).
