Do you believe in life after love? Cher does; and during Under the Big Sky's Saturday night (July 13) headlining set, Billy Strings and Sierra Ferrell did too.
In between the fiddle tunes and classic ditties of his 2-hour-long show-running display, Strings welcomed Ferrell onto the stage where the pair performed Cher's 1998 pop hit, 'Believe', along with a rendition of Dave Evans' 'One Loaf of Bread' and the traditional standard 'Old Man at the Mill'.
Among them, the twanged-up take on the pop star's ballad was no doubt a highlight of the Saturday evening set.
However, Ferrell wasn't the only onstage guest of the six-string savant. The 'Dust in a Baggie' star also hosted newly minted hitmaker Zach Top under the spotlight.
The duo performed an iteration of Keith Allison's 'Freeborn Man', as well as a cover of The Osborne Brothers' 'Big Spike Hammer' during Strings' showcase.
Elsewhere in the star-studded weekend, festival-goers witnessed performances from an eclectic lineup of acts. Everyone from country heavy-hitter Miranda Lambert to Red Dirt heroes Turnpike Troubadours showed up and showed off under the big sky.
