Under the Big Sky 2023 provided yet another phenomenal weekend of independent country, Americana and roots music as it once again took up residence in Whitefish, Montana. While no dates or lineups have been confirmed yet for 2024, it's extremely likely that we'll be able to do it all again in 2024.
With nearly Holler's perfect festival lineup, the festival's 2023 edition featured headlining performances from Zach Bryan, Caamp and Hank Williams Jr., as well as lively sets on the Great Northern stage from Colter Wall, Luke Grimes, Whiskey Myers, Charley Crockett and Marcus King, among others.
Taking over the Big Mountain Stage, attendees could find Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, 49 Winchester, Elle King, The Red Clay Strays and more.

So far, each year of the festival has drawn somewhere around 20,000 attendees, which is more than double Whitefish's population. According to organizers, the 2023 installment also saw concertgoers from all 50 states, as well as Canada, Australia, Sweden and Italy.
Since launching in 2019, partly in thanks to the worldwide craze of the blockbuster series Yellowstone, Under The Big Sky has hosted cutting-edge, emerging voices with legendary musical icons amidst expansive 180-degree views of Big Sky Country.
Past performers over the last four years have included Turnpike Troubadours, Lord Huron, Cody Jinks, Paul Cauthen, Jamey Johnson, Midland, Margo Price, Lainey Wilson, Trampled By Turtles, Sierra Hull, Leah Blevins, Jaime Wyatt and many more.
