Another day, another accolade for country's new prodigy, Bailey Zimmerman. The Louisville maverick's debut EP, Leave The Light On, has now been certified Gold in the US and Canada.

At the start of the month, Zimmerman gained his first Country Radio No. 1 with the fiery heartache anthem, ‘Fall in Love’, a song that made Holler's Songs of the year 2022 list.

More recently, he was positioned fourth on Billboard's Top New Artists of 2022, while Zimmerman also secured the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Top New Country Artists ranking.

Zimmerman's Leave The Light On EP was only made available in October, but continues to emerge as one of the most popular projects of the year.

Upon its release, it became the biggest streaming country debut of all-time, as well as being the most streamed debut of the year across all genres.

The project is pervaded by a sense of despair at the collapse of a relationship, yet carries an impetus and drive that elevates it from a series of forlorn ballads to a slew of radio-friendly earworms.

Zimmerman is set to add another heartbroken hit to the mix, as he readies a new single, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’. The track is due to be released this month, with Zimmerman teasing it on his socials earlier in the week.
