Ashley Cooke is set to make her morning TV debut when she graces the stage on NBC's TODAY show on Friday, July 28. Cooke will be treating viewers to a live performance of ‘tastes like’, one of the many highlights from her new album, shot in the dark.
The Floridian prodigy will no doubt introduce swathes of new fans to her refreshingly conversational, laid-back vocal style coupled with her sleek, alluring melodies.
‘tastes like’ epitomises this formidable combination, and will serve as the perfect gateway for TODAY Show viewers into the variegated world of Ashley Cooke's shot in the dark double-album.
Following her hotly anticipated appearance on the TODAY Show, Cooke will rejoin Luke Bryan's immensely popular Country On run of dates, before embarking on her first ever headlining tour, which kicks off on August 23 in Panama City, Florida.
Along with ‘tastes like’, ticket-holders will be keenly looking forward to hearing the up-and-coming singer-songwriter performing other stellar offerings from shot in the dark, such as ‘it's been a year’, ‘back in the saddle’ and the Jackson Dean-assisted ‘what are you on fire about’, which was co-written with Lainey Wilson.
Once Ashley Cooke has walked off the TODAY Show stage in Times Square tomorrow (Friday, July 28) following her ‘tastes like’ performance, we're fairly confident it won't be long before she once again steps in front of a national TV audience for another impressive live set.
