Bear Shadow Festival has unveiled the artists set to perform during its 2023 instalment, which will take place on April 28-30 at Highlands, North Carolina. Headlining on Friday will be rock band, Spoon, who will be supported by Fruit Bats and Lissie.

Saturday will see Seattle-based group, The Head and the Heart, topping the bill, with Neal Francis and Myron Elkins confirmed as support acts. The final day of Bear Shadow Festival will be closed out by alt-country mavericks, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. Also performing on Sunday will be Amythyst Kiah, along with husband and wife duo Woody Platt & Shannon Whitworth.

The festival boasts an iconic setting atop the Highlands Plateau, in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Located 4,118 feet above sea level, it's hard to think of many places better suited for some good ole' mountain music.

2022's edition of Bear Shadow saw Band of Horses, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Trampled by Turtles performing at the high-flying festival. They were joined by the likes of Jamestown Revival, Wild Rivers, Susto, 49 Winchester and Kitchen Dwellers.

2023's Bear Shadow is on-track to continue the festival's momentum, becoming one of the staple events on the country music calendar.

Tickets for Bear Shadow Festival 2023 will be available on November 16 and can be purchased here.
