Voices of America Country Music Fest will bring another phenomenal slew of country artists with its 2024 edition. The festival will return to West Chester, Ohio from August 9-11, 2024.

So far, festival organizers have unveiled the megastar trio of headliners for the 2024 event, which will include sets from Keith Urban, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean.

Elsewhere, throughout the weekend attendees will be able to catch performances from Lauren Alaina, Maddie & Tae, Brett Young, Priscilla Block, Larry Fleet, Chase Matthew, Lily Rose and Redferrin, among others.

Additionally, Big Louder singer-songwriter Ernest will take the stage on Thursday night for a special extra day of festivities.

An extra special component of the 2024 event, beloved Nashville showcase Whiskey Jam will be hosting a secondary stage with a slew of artists on tap, such as The Castellows, Chase McDaniel, Jake Worthington, Tanner Adell, Emily Ann Roberts and more.

In 2023, festivalgoers saw a scrumptious crop of talent take the stage, which featured headlining sets from Dan + Shay, Chris Young, Old Dominion and Alabama.

The three-day weekend of performances also saw established heavyweights like Chris Young, Riley Green, Jake Owen and Lainey Wilson, as well as a collection of exciting newcomers like Megan Moroney, Lauren Watkins, Tyler Booth, Drake Mulligan, Austin Snell, Tyler Braden, Dalton Dover and more.

2023 was the inaugural event for Voices of America Country Music Fest, which was at America MetroPark. The 2024 event will cut down from its original four days of programming to only being a three-day event.

The first year of what will likely become a staple in the country music festival calendar saw tickets sold in 24 different states and attendees from three countries.

When you hear Ernest's mellow, honeyed vocals, it's hard to believe that he started off his musical career as a rapper. On his 2021 smash hit, ‘Flower Shops’, he has his boots planted firmly in classic country terra firma - but to get there, it’s safe to say that Ernest eschewed the traditional pathway in favour of the scenic route.

The stylistic influences that have shaped Ernest’s chart-topping sound are hugely varied, and they emerge like easter eggs hidden amidst the steel guitars and layered drawl. From his moody, EDM collaboration with Diplo, ‘Bottle’s Bout Dead’, to the retro, Hailey Whitters-assisted tribute to Dolly and Kenny, ‘Islands in the Stream’, Ernest regularly showcases his diverse musical palette.

Ernest’s creative dexterity is clearest when examining his illustrious songwriting track record, having penned hits for a range of country stars. These include Florida Georgia Line (‘I Love My Country’), Sam Hunt (‘Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90’s’), Kane Brown (‘One Mississippi’, ‘Memory’), Thomas Rhett (‘Church Boots’, ‘Paradise’), Chris Lane (‘Big, Big Plans’) and Jelly Roll (‘Son Of A Sinner’).

Ernest has been particularly prolific when writing for his good buddy, Morgan Wallen, having helped to create ‘You Proof’, ‘More Than My Hometown’, ‘Dangerous’, ‘Broadway Girls’ and numerous other hits. With HARDY, the hugely popular trio are considered by many to be the tastemakers of today’s country music scene.

, was a romantic, beachside getaway, with the tropical setting reflecting the paradisal relationship that Ernest celebrates on the record. Highlights such as ‘I Think I Love You’, ‘Sugar’ and ‘All We Need’ helped to build a burgeoning following for the Nashville native.

While some suspected that Ernest would double down on this Buffettian, Gulf and Western sound, at the end of 2021 he shifted gears and dropped his biggest hit to date, ‘Flower Shops’. The Morgan Wallen collaboration felt like the kind of song George Jones would record if he was part of today’s generation of artists, and it marked a clear departure from the idyllic shores of 

. ‘Flower Shops’ went Platinum in November 2022.

, built out this troubled, heartbroken persona, spawning fan-favourites such as ‘Comfortable When I’m Crazy’, ‘Feet Wanna Run’ and ‘What It’s Come To’.

In December 2022, Ernest confirmed that he would be releasing two new singles, ‘Miss That Girl’ and ‘Unhang The Moon’.

Ernest is a classic country singer with a voice so mellow, it would be hard to believe that he started his career as a rapper.

It seemed, at first, that country singer Sam Hunt was destined for football. He played at Middle Tennessee State University for a year, before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

But it was what happened after practice that formed his future: Hunt learned how to play the guitar. Even though he would go on to try out for the Kansas City Chiefs, he ultimately wanted to pursue a career in music. 

His songs eventually caught the ear of MCA Nashville, which signed him in 2014. Later that year, he released the EP 

and followed it closely with the debut studio album 

Hunt's first single hit big on country radio. 'Leave the Night On' topped the Country Airplay chart and marked the first of four songs to reach that spot. The achievement meant he became the first male country star to have four songs from their debut studio album reach No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. 

Hunt also won New Artist of the Year at the Americana Music Awards in 2015, and was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys in 2016. His sophomore album

Alaina landed a record deal after her time on the series, and in October of that year she released her debut album, 

. In 2012, the ACM Awards declared her New Artist of the Year. 

Alaina continued touring as she began working on her sophomore album, but that project,

, didn't arrive until 2017. The CMA Awards nominated her for New Artist of the Year, and the following year, she won Female Vocalist of the year at the ACM Awards. 

In 2021, Alaina released her third album

From the moment Larry Fleet’s unmistakable vocals emanate through your speakers, it’s plain and clear why the Tennessee native has amassed such a fiercely loyal following in the space of just a few years.

Fleet’s husky voice carries a distinctive weight and gravitas, but even when he is tackling sobering topics, such as alcoholism, he does so in a way that unavoidably energises and uplifts the listener.

Epitomising this is his faith-filled hymn, ‘Where I Find God’, which has transformed from a movingly introspective and deeply personal tribute to Fleet’s spiritual journey, into a rousing,

, and remains his most recognisable single to date. On ‘Where I Find God’, Larry Fleet lays out his mission statement for all to see, with his stirring vocals combining with an evocative message of redemption.

Although ‘Where I Find God’ is unquestionably the jewel in Fleet’s crown, to really tune into the heart of his music, there are few better places to start than ‘Earned It’, the title-track from his 2023 album.

On the inspirational song, Larry Fleet rattles through a list of lessons he’s had to navigate in his time, before heartwarmingly fast-forwarding to his content, simple life with his family (“Oh, at the end of the day / I get to watch my children play / I'm satisfied with my simple life / 'Cause, buddy, I earned it”).

It’s safe to say Fleet has indeed earned every moment of success he’s enjoyed over the past three years, with the Big Loud signee having spent many years grinding away at his burgeoning music career in his spare time, before a wedding gig pricked the ears of country star, Jake Owen.

Made up of sisters Ellie, Powell and Lily Balcom, The Castellows have dove headfirst into making a name for themselves in country music. 

The trio of sisters from the rural small town of Georgetown, Georgia—right on the Georgia/Alabama border—signed their record deal with Warner Music Nashville & Warner Records in spring of 2023 and quickly released singles ‘No. 7 Road’ and ‘Hurricane’. 

Less than a year later, they put out their debut EP, 

 in February 2024. Of its seven tracks, the sisters had a hand in writing all but one of its songs—with the outlier being a cover.

As one of only a few all-female groups in country as of late, the trio stand out in the genre with their beautiful three-part harmonies. With Lily singing lead vocals, Powell on banjo and Ellie on lead guitar, these sisters are creating a country music sound that is authentic to them.

Already in 2024, the girls have earned their place on lists such as 

’ ‘Five Groups You Need To Know’ and CMT’s ‘Listen Up’. The Castellows are spending the first half of 2024 connecting with fans on their debut headlining tour.
