Brandi Carlile’s extravagant Girls Just Wanna Weekend is returning to the sunny, sandy beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico in January 2025.
Running from the 16th through the 20th for four days of festivities, the sixth annual event will feature a smorgasbord of the best female acts in modern music.
Anchored by the Grammy-winning entertainer herself, Carlile will be joined by the legendary Shania Twain, as well as behemoth talents like Maren Morris, Muna, Brandy Clark and others across the weekend.
In addition to multiple sets from Carlile, the weekend will also see performances from Lucius, Brittney Spencer, Jensen McRae, Allison Ponthier, Arroba Nat, Tish Melton, SistaStrings, Yasmin Williams, The Carlile Family Band and The Marshgrass Mamas, as well as comedian Kristen Key.

Once again boasting an all female-fronted lineup, the 2024 weekend of music and relaxation saw performances from Carlile, Allison Russell, Janelle Monae, Sarah McLachlan, Lucius, Celisse and KT Tunstall. Elsewhere across the four-day outing, the stage was graced by Wendy & Lisa, corook, Monica Martin, Tish Melton, SmallTown Strings and Carile's own bandmates, SistaStrings.
As if you couldn't fit any more girl power into a weekend, attendees were also treated to a special songwriters round featuring Mary Chapin Carpenter, Brandy Clark and Kim Richey guest starring as “Titans of Americana.”
The 2024 installment marked Carlile's fifth anniversary of the event, taking place at a new host resort, Barceló, which accommodated all attendees on one property. Becoming a closed campus, lovingly dubbed “Brandi Land,” provided additional opportunity for immersion, as well as a custom concert venue, direct beach access, additional on-site activations and premium guest services.
