Country Summer Music Festival is bringing another army of the genre's biggest stars to Santa Rosa, California in June 2024, following another unforgettable occasion in 2023.

Taking over picturesque Nor-Cal from June 14-16, attendees will be treated to headlining performances from country standards Old Dominion and Jordan Davis, as well as a yet-to-be-announced headliner for Friday's festivities.

Also on tap for the chock-full weekend of music will be 'Fancy Like' star Walker Hayes, '90s country icon Jo Dee Messina and red-dirt newcomer Corey Kent.

The 2024 edition of Country Summer Music Festival will also feature a collection of new and seasoned entertainers, including Kameron Marlowe, Ashley Cooke, Sam Barber, Colby Acuff, Muscadine Bloondline and plenty of others.

The 2023 edition of Country Summer Music Festival featured a formidable trio of headliners that included ‘The Chief’ himself, 

, along with country-rock legends, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ‘Skeletons’ hitmakers, 

They were joined by the likes of Lee Brice, Tyler Farr, The Cadillac Three, Tenille Townes, Matt Stell, Ashland Craft, Lewis Brice, Ella Langley, Josh Gracin, Kassi Ashton, Halle Kearns and more. 

The hugely popular Sonoma County venue will once again be the home of Country Summer Music Festival in 2024, with the expansive, sun-soaked grounds always serving as the perfect surroundings for a weekend of top-tier country music.

When Jordan Davis emerged onto the scene in 2018 with his pop-leaning, dive-bar-hitting, whiskey-chasing trio of singles, ‘Singles You Up’, ‘Take It From Me’ and ‘Slow Dance in a Parking Lot’, few would have predicted his most iconic hit would ultimately be a stripped-back, traditional country ballad celebrating faith and family.

But ‘Buy Dirt’, the 2021 Luke Bryan-assisted phenomenon, completely redirected Davis’ trajectory. The intricate, wistful ode to the things that matter in life went on to win Jordan Davis his first CMA Award in 2022 for Song of the Year, and its success undoubtedly coloured the Louisiana native’s subsequent 2023 album, 

, ‘Next Thing You Know’, is cut from the same philosophical cloth as ‘Buy Dirt’, but finds Davis flexing his storytelling muscles as he documents the blink-of-an-eye pace at which life changes.

It’s littered with beautifully observed snapshots, none more so than the moment Davis becomes a father (“Cause next thing you know / You're wearin' scrubs and a funny white hat / And the doctor's sayin', "How you doin' there, dad?" / And nobody's ever called you that / And you take the drive home slow”).

Although he’s shifted his focus, from time to time, Jordan Davis still embraces the genre-fusing style that inspired his break-out singles back in 2018, captured by the likes of ‘Almost Maybes’, ‘Lose You’, ‘Need to Not’ and ‘Tucson Too Late’.

Thanks in no small part to the magnitude of ‘Buy Dirt’, Jordan Davis is now one of the most esteemed names in the genre, and he currently stands on the precipice of country music stardom.

However, judging by the lyrics to ‘Buy Dirt’, glistening accolades and illustrious achievements aren’t really the priority for the porch-sittin’, Church-going family-man version of Jordan Davis we know and love today.

We've all heard about the qualms of breaking through in the music industry, as well as Nashville's infamous ten-year timeline. While there are plenty of stories of artists who have tried and failed, and several about the lucky few who have clawed their way to the spotlight, country music is also filled with stories of resilience.

One of those stories can be found as you pull back the layers of Walker Hayes.

Though his breakthrough moment came in 2021 with the release of his blockbuster single, 'Fancy Like,' his artistic journey dates all the way back to 2005 when he first rolled into Music City.

Raised in Mobile, Alabama as the youngest of nine kids, Hayes earned a music degree from Alabama's Birmingham-Southern College where he majored in piano. Though never intending to become a musician, Hayes' father encouraged him to try out performing, and after the artist bug bit, Hayes and his wife, Laney, were pulled to Nashville.

Hayes quickly landed a publishing deal and inked a record deal with Mercury before hopping over to Capitol Records, and his debut single, 'Pants,' came in 2010, reaching the 60th spot on 

's Hot Country Songs chart. A year later, his debut album, 

, produced little results apart from Hayes being dropped from the label.

In the years that followed, Hayes continued to write, eventually landing a publishing and production deal with Shane McAnally and SMACK/RareSpark in 2016.

Come 2017, after a long 6 years since his debut album, Hayes signed a deal with Monument Records, releasing his first single, 'You Broke Up With Me.' Marking his first top ten single, the now double-Platinum tune signaled Hayes' second chance at stardom and was followed by the release of his sophomore record, 

, which debuted at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart and peaked at No. 37 on the 

While the next few years saw a string of singles that never made their way onto the charts, everything came to a head for Hayes in 2021 with the Platinum-certified 'Fancy Like.'

The cornerstone of his third EP-turned-record, 

, the single became a viral hit and a career-defining moment for the singer-songwriter, reaching No. 3 on the 

 Hot 100 and No. 1 on both the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, the former of which he topped for over 23 weeks.

Building his career on sounding completely different from everything else in the format, Hayes combines his speak-singing style with effortlessly catchy country pop sounds, culminating into one of the most unique voices in modern day country music.

It may have taken over ten years to get here, but Hayes' arrival at the forefront of the genre has been hard-earned and his legion of dedicated fans will continue to grow... and proudly do the 'Fancy Like' dance.

Having written her first song at 11, Cooke made the traditional artist’s pilgrimage to Music City at the age of 18 - only, at this point, she didn’t yet consider herself a country singer-songwriter.

Cooke majored in Communications and Marketing at Nashville’s illustrious Belmont University, which has produced country stars such as Florida Georgia Line, Brad Paisley and Trisha Yearwood. Despite not studying music, Ashley Cooke entered Belmont’s renowned Country Showcase - and won.

This served as the catalyst for the Floridian’s decision to give her burgeoning country music career a chance for one year. This happened to be the year the world shut down for the pandemic, which stifled the careers of many up-and-coming artists.

Yet Ashley Cooke instead saw this as an opportunity to grow her fanbase in a different way, through inventively and effectively utilising TikTok as a means of placing her music in front of new listeners.

Following the viral success of the revamped ‘Never Til Now’, with newly added vocals from Brett Young, Ashley Cooke released her debut EP,
