Country Fest 2024 is once again setting up camp in Cadott, WI in 2024. The three-day country music extravaganza will take place June 27-29 in Central Wisconsin.

Founded over 30 years ago, the celebrated festival is once again providing a blistering bill of entertainers for 2024, including headlining spots from Eric Church, Keith Urban and Jake Owen.

Across its five stages, attendees will see performances fro over 40 different acts, including Ashley McBryde, Hailey Whitters, Scotty McCreery, Conner Smith, Deana Carter, Warren Zeiders, Dalton Dover, Kassi Ashton and more.

Additionally, the Wednesday night kickoff Tailgate Party will be anchored by iconic band Sawyer Brown, as well as Slamabama and Six to Midnight.

Boasting the largest party in a hayfield, the 2023 event had a slew of excitement in store for festival goers with appearances from Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi, Billy Currington, ERNEST, Larry Fleet, Jackson Dean, Lauren Watkins and BRELAND, among others.

Claiming to be "the ultimate summer destination" and "the largest 3-Day country music & camping event in the U.S.", Country Fest has hosted a plethora of legendary names over the years.

Among the artists who have graced the main stage are George Strait, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, The Highwaymen (Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, & Waylon Jennings), George Jones, Reba McEntire and many more.

Over its three days, Country Fest aims to celebrate the best of all things country with phenomenal music, delicious food, interactive exhibits, exciting activations and the largest campground in Wisconsin, with 360 acres and more than 7,500 campsites within walking distance of the concert grounds.

Many artists get started when they’re younger, but Eric Church had a regular gig performing at a local bar in his hometown by the time he was a senior in high school. Despite that, he first went on to study at Appalachian State University before deciding that Nashville was where he ultimately needed to be. 

After moving to Music City post-graduation, Church began writing for other artists before catching the eye of Capitol Nashville. His debut album, Sinners Like Me, was released in 2006 and began a steady output with Carolina (2009), Chief (2011), and The Outsiders (2014) and Mr. Misunderstood (2015) following in quick succession. In 2021, he released his seventh studio LP, Heart & Soul, which was a triple album set.

His third album Chief earned Church the ACM Award and CMA Award for Album of the Year in 2011. He also won the ACM Award for Top New Solo Vocalist.

Around that time, Church founded the charitable organization Chief Cares, which helps underprivileged families in Tennessee and Church’s home state of North Carolina.

Famously, Church’s penchant for big, lively performances got him kicked off Rascal Flatts’ tour in 2006. He regularly went over his allotted time and was warned repeatedly to stop. Eventually, Rascall Flatts traded Church for newcomer Taylor Swift. At the time, Church joked that Swift should send him her first gold record for the increased exposure she got. She eventually did, writing him, “Thanks for playing too long and too loud on the Flatts tour. I sincerely appreciate it. Taylor.”

Ashley McBryde didn't wait for the Nashville majors to back her talent. She self-released her first album in 2006, before moving to Music City to focus exclusively on writing and performing country music. 

In her first few years in Nashville, McBryde won the Country Showdown in 2009 and 2010. 

She continued touring behind her music, and eventually released the EP 

 in 2016. One year later, Warner Bros. Records in Nashville released her single 'A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega'. 

McBryde co-wrote the song with Nicolette Hayford and Jesse Rice. It's about having the worst day but making the best of it. The song garnered critical attention, including from 

which named it as one of the 54 Best Songs of the Year. 

The single ended up on McBryde's 2018 debut studio album 

. Thanks to the popularity and critical success of the album, McBryde was named Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACMs and New Artist of the Year at the CMAs in 2019. Her debut album also earned a Best Country Album nomination at the Grammys. 

In 2020, she released her sophomore album 

. Once again, it was nominated for Best Country Album at the Grammys.

Over the last few decades, we have learned that country music really is countrywide... or more accurately worldwide. While an overwhelming majority of today's country crop comes by way of the southern region of the U.S., Hailey Whitters has brought a unique flair of midwestern charm to country music since making her first waves in the format in 2020.

Iowa-born and Nashville-based, the rising tunesmith first gained notoriety through her golden pen, notching songwriting credits for the likes of Little Big Town, Marina McBride, Alan Jackson and more. After a decade of grinding it out around town, her breakthrough moment finally came in 2020 with the release of her sophomore album, 

, which found its way onto more than a dozen year-end best of lists. The deluxe edition, 

, saw Whitters commissioning some of her frequent collaborators and friends on five new tracks, including Brent Cobb, Jordan Davis, Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town, who appeared on the CMT Music Award-winning song 'Fillin' My Cup.'

Following a momentous 2020, the subsequent year took Whitters out on the road with acts like Luke Combs and Midland, as well as saw her notch her first Grammy nomination for Song of the Year for Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlile's 'Beautiful Noise,' written by Whitters with Carlile, Keys, Ruby Amanfu, Brandy Clark, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Linda Perry.

Building off her success thus far, Whitters brought everything to a head in March of 2022 as she released her third album, 

, which features her debut single to country radio, 'Everything She Ain't,' as well as the moody heartbreak departed anthem of 'The Neon' and her ode to the guys who taught her some lessons about love and life on 'Boys Back Home.'

Though still in the beginning stages of what will surely be a lengthy career in the left of country Americana space, Whitters has spent the last few years truly honing in on her craft and her sound, all while growing a dedicated fan base and quite a killer catalog along the way.
