At long last, Germany's instalment of Europe's biggest country music festival, C2C Berlin, is around the corner. Across March 7th to 9th, the German capital will be flooded with Stetson cowboy hats, Wrangler boots and a lot - and we mean a lot - of flannel.

As is the case for the UK leg of C2C Festival, there are so many brilliant artists performing across a dizzying range of stages, that it can be tricky to know where to begin, without suddenly realising you've missed your only chance to see one of your priority acts.

Of course, we recommend you try and see as many artists as possible over the course of C2C Berlin 2025, with the main-stage line-up boasting an array of top-tier talent, including Lainey Wilson, Dylan Gossett and Midland, while the other stages all provide exciting opportunities to witness country prodigies and discover new favourites.

To save you from feeling overwhelmed by the choice on offer, we've given you a starting-point by compiling a list of five must-see artists performing at C2C Berlin 2025.

1. Adrien Nunez

Adrien Nunez is establishing himself as a modern-day multi-hyphenate, with the up-and-comer starting off as a Michigan Wolverines basketball player, before building a large following on TikTok through his energetic reaction videos to country songs.

Then, Nunez decided to take this a step further and try his hand at writing country music. Some fans were skeptical, but Nunez quickly allayed any fears regarding his versatility with the viral earworm, ‘LOW ROAD’, which finds him packaging up a heartbreaking tale into an infectious melody, addressing an ex that ran off with a former team-mate. Follow-ups such as ‘ALL I EVER DO’ have kept the momentum going, with Nunez marrying the folk impulses of Noah Kahan with the R&B-infused, dance-ready textures of Shaboozey and his 2025 tour-mate, Myles Smith.

2. Lanie Gardner

It's difficult to find a clear point of comparison for Lanie Gardner, such is the unique and refreshingly eclectic range of influences the North Carolina artist incorporates into her sound.

Expect a set that showcases Gardner's compelling, chameleonic quality - she'll take you on a rollercoaster of styles and emotions, hitting you with fiery stadium-rock on her Twisters: The Album stand-out, ‘Chasing the Wind’, before lightening the mood with her joyously playful, tongue-in-cheek and addictive 2025 single, ‘Buzzkill’.

3. Max McNown

Max McNown enjoyed immense virality in 2024 with his aching, introspective hit, ‘A Lot More Free’, as it blossomed into a rousing battle-cry encouraging listeners to be patient with themselves in the midst of a break-up. This remains the cornerstone of McNown's set - but don't for one second mistake the rising star as a one-trick pony.

McNown can flit between angsty, Zach Bryan-inspired folk and radio-friendly, Nashvillian country with ease, highlighted by his sweet, rose-tinted single, ‘Brown Eyes (Better Me For You)’, which is fast approaching the streaming heights of ‘A Lot More Free’.

The glue that holds it all together is McNown's enchanting sense of sincerity - whether he's crooning adoringly to his girlfriend or lamenting the anguish of heartbreak, you can't help but feel as though you're right there with him every step of the way.

4. Avery Anna

Avery Anna is no stranger to performing on this side of The Pond, with the Arizona hitmaker already having a broad collection of high-profile festival appearances under her belt.

Anna continues to soar higher each year, with the ‘Just ‘Cause I Love You’ singer-songwriter's artistic evolution demonstrated throughout her 2024 debut album, Breakup Over Breakfast.

Prior to this record, Anna was known for her stripped-back, piano-driven ballads and intimate lyrics that felt as though they'd been ripped straight from her journal. But on Breakup Over Breakfast, Anna expanded her sound and showcased her penchant for fierce, rock-leaning anthems, without losing the intimacy of her earlier material.

Avery Anna refers to her online outlets as “digital rage rooms”, and this spirit will come to the fore when she performs electric offerings such as ‘Honey’ and ‘Blame It On My Broken Heart’. The crown jewel, though, is one of her more pared-down tracks, the visceral, raw reflection on consent, ‘vanilla’, which Anna penned for her little sister.

  • Sunday, March 9th - Mainstage - 16:50-17:20

5. Graham Barham

If you happen to walk past one of Graham Barham's performances at C2C Berlin 2025, you could be forgiven for doing a double-take, and wondering if you've accidentally stumbled onto a trap or R&B festival. Barham revels in the grey area between country and these adjacent genres, with the fast-emerging artist taking the rattling hi-hats and thumping 808s that Morgan Wallen pioneered on iconic tracks such as ‘Broadway Girls’ and ‘180 (Lifestyle)’, and combining them with country-leaning lyricism. Keep an eye - or an ear - out for Graham Barham's current single, ‘OIL MONEY’, which has been stuck in our heads for the past month.
