Fans will have noticed Zach Bryan's 2022 track, ‘Tishomingo’, playing during the latest episode of Yellowstone Season 5.

In Episode 8, A Knife And No Coin, the tender song introduces a whole new level of emotional weight to the scene, and marks the latest in a string of Bryan songs that have been featured in the series.

Earlier in the season, Bryan even played a cameo role as the county fair band, performing ‘Quittin’ Time’, ‘Motorcycle Drive By’ and ‘Summertime Blues’.

The neo-Western series has held a long-standing affinity with the young star, having included songs such as ‘Condemned’ and ‘Flying or Crying’ in the soundtrack, at a time when the Oklahoma songsmith was stilling making his name in the industry.

‘Tishomingo’’s inclusion continues a busy Winter for Zach Bryan, with the singer-songwriter having put out his hotly anticipated live album, All My Homes Hate Ticketmaster (Live From Red Rocks), on Christmas Day.

He accompanied the release with news of an upcoming, low-cost tour in 2023, along with a teaser of a brand new song, ‘Dawns’.

With a new studio album on the way and a wealth of unreleased tracks in his armoury, it looks like Zach Bryan fans have plenty to look forward to this year.

In an Instagram post, Bryan paid tribute to all of the incredible memories made in 2022, and underlined that more are on the way in 2023.

Also featuring in the new Yellowstone episode was Luke Grimes’ debut single, ‘No Horse To Ride’. Grimes plays the fan-favourite character of Kayce in the series, and his song's appearance serves as a nice touch from the show's musical curators.
