Lainey Wilson continues to be at the forefront of the country music agenda, having been unveiled as the latest addition to Barefoot Country Music Fest 2023. She joins the already announced Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum and more.
Festival-goers will be hoping to see Lainey perform hits such as ‘Things a Man Oughta Know’ and ‘Heart Like A Truck’ at the New Jersey festival. The event takes place on June 15-18.
The news follows Lainey's high-profile appearance in Season 5 of the blockbuster TV series, Yellowstone. Wilson plays Abby, and in Episode 4, which aired on Sunday 27 November, Lainey debuted a brand new track. ‘New Friends’, a nostalgic ode to the afterglow of a lost relationship.
The song has been added to Lainey's second studio album, Bell Bottom Country, which was released in late October. Shortly after the album hit the shelves, Lainey won the 2022 CMA awards for New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Barefoot Country Music Fest 2023 has confirmed that Lainey will be performing on the Miller Lite Main Stage, with the Louisiana artist revealing the news via a video clip posted to the festival's Instagram page.
Lainey's introduction to the line-up will have fans clamouring to purchase their tickets, with the 2023 festival shaping up to be another star-studded occasion. In 2022, artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church, Dustin Lynch and more took the stage at the beachside, Wildwood-based venue.
