It's a bittersweet moment this week for Zach Bryan's New York fanbase. On the one hand, they finally get to see one of the biggest artists in the US performing live at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, but on the other, it means Bryan's Quittin’ Time tour is coming to an end.
The sprawling, rip-roaring run of shows has taken Zach Bryan across the US and Canada, with the ‘Revival’ hitmaker bringing out a slew of special guests along the way, from Noeline Hofmann to Shane Gillis, Jason Isbell to Sexxy Red and many more.
We suspect the Oklahoma singer-songwriter might have a few surprises up his sleeve, given these two shows serve as the final tour-stops on his momentous Quittin’ Time run.
Whether it's a surprise duet or two or simply a few setlist switch-ups, or whether Zach Bryan simply decides to keep it simple and deliver the same songs he's been performing in recent cities, these New York dates will inevitably feature an additional sheen of nostalgia as Bryan reflects on what's been a blockbuster tour.
Zach Bryan takes the stage at the Barclays Center on Wednesday, December 18th and Thursday, December 19th, and we're keeping our fingers crossed he serenades the crowd with a few tracks that have been inspired by the Big Apple. For instance, his unreleased fan-favourite, ‘Til Brooklyn’, would surely be perfect for the occasion.
In terms of what you can bring into the venue with you, as is the case at most concerts nowadays, the organisers advise against taking a bag into the arena. However, if you have to, you can carry a bag no larger than 14" x 14" x 7". View the full bag policy here.
As for the merchandise Zach Bryan will be selling at the Barclays Center, there will most likely be a similar range to what's been on offer at other recent tour-stops, with an array of Quittin’ Time tees, hoodies, caps and more usually available from the merch booths. We're hoping Bryan might make some limited edition items in honour of these being his final two Quittin’ Time tour-dates, but this remains to be seen.
The openers, again, are indie crooner Matt Maeson and folk-leaning prodigy, Levi Turner, with the latter being the first artist Zach Bryan signed to his Belting Bronco Records imprint.
With Zach Bryan having confirmed multiple times that he will not be touring in the same capacity in 2025, it looks like his double-header in New York might be one of the last chances to witness Bryan's electrifying live show until he makes his way back to the East Coast for his trio of MetLife Stadium concerts with Kings of Leon in July 2025.
