The songsmith behind The Man From Waco, Charley Crockett, has been chosen to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
His performance will be airing nationwide on December 8.
Crockett stands at the forefront of a fast-emerging group of country artists that are championing a more traditional, outlaw-inspired sound.
Fans of this new alt-country wave will be celebrating Crockett's Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, and will be highlighting the booking as a testament to the sub-genre's continued ascent.
Crockett will be performing alongside his Blue Drifters band at 11:35/10:35c on ABC. The song he'll be playing is yet to be announced.
While December is a time when many take their foot off the gas, Crockett is flooring it. He'll be spending his holiday season out on the road, with a packed line-up of dates scheduled throughout the month.
It caps off an exciting year of new music for Charley Crockett, with the 38-year-old having dropped The Man From Waco in September. This followed on from his Lil’ G.L. Presents: Jukebox Charley project, on which Crockett performs as his ‘Lil’ G.L.’ alter-ego.
Crockett has gained a reputation for his prolific streak of releases, and fans will therefore be hoping that ‘The Man From Waco’ has even more new music lined up for the coming months.
