In today's day and age, it feels like many aspects of the future - both near and far - are more uncertain than ever. As a result, it's always refreshing when you encounter something that is simply undisputed, unquestionable and ironclad - such as Zach Top's vocal ability.
The neo-traditional trailblazer has once again reminded fans why he deserves his ‘next-big-thing’ status, with Zach delivering a stellar performance of The Star-Spangled Banner ahead of the Cincinatti Bengals vs Philadelphia Eagles NFL game over the weekend.
After removing his signature cowboy hat out of deference, the ‘I Never Lie’ hitmaker proceeded to wrap his George Strait-esque vocals around the rousing anthem lyrics. Adding a slight quiver here and a dose of charisma there, Zach Top stayed true to the classic iteration of The Star-Spangled Banner while still making it his own.
Recruiting Zach Top to perform the national anthem prior to the game did not, however, provide any extra luck to the home-team, the Cincinnati Bengals, who ended up losing 17 - 37 to the Philadelphia Eagles. This leaves the Bengals in third place in the AFC North.
Taking to socials following the momentous performance, which was widely praised by fans online, Zach Top joked that he wouldn't have any time to reflect on the special occasion, due to his packed schedule. Zach shared, “Gonna need a nap after this week...”
Zach Top is currently preparing to return to Lainey Wilson's popular Country's Cool Again tour, which will take him across Arkansas, Indiana, West Virginia and more throughout early November.
