The first day of Stagecoach certainly kicked off the festival weekend with a bang, especially when Zach Bryan capped that Friday night with an electrifying 30-song set full of favorites, deep cuts and a few surprises.
From start to finish, it was obvious his headlining showcase would be one for the books. For two hours, he pulled from a catalogue now five studio albums strong, playing smash hits like ''68 Fastback', 'Something in the Orange' and 'Heading South', as well as newer offerings from 2024's The Great American Bar Scene.
Along the way, he covered Warren Zevon's 'Lawyers, Guns and Money', introducing the 1978 opus as one of his favorites, and debuted his latest single, 'Blue Jean Baby', to a live audience.
The perfect additions to his sprawling showcase, however, came by way of the guests he brought out during the night.
Halfway into his performance, the hitmaker welcomed collaborator Noeline Hofmann onto the stage, and together, they performed a duet of the Hofmann-penned 'Purple Gas', which appeared on The Great American Bar Scene to wide acclaim.
Ahead of the song, he told the crowd, “Every time we play it together I mess it up", but there seemed to be no errors in sight during the enrapturing duet.
Later on, he also tapped Willow Avalon for a sweet rendition of his Kacey Musgraves-backed 'I Remember Everything'. Their voices made for a wonderful pairing, one we'll perhaps hear again when the two take on BST Hyde Park this summer.
