We've all been there. You develop an innocent crush, at work or at school or just waiting in the queue at the M&S hot counter every day on a complete stranger, and it all seems harmless enough at first, but then before you know it, you're crushing on them so hard it's started crushing you too.

On her latest single, Brit-country pop superstar Twinnie is suffering with the 'Worst Kind of Crush,' but she crawls out from under the weight of it to hit the dancefloor with a sophisto-pop country classic that should hopefully get her head in a spin for all the right reasons.

“We all know what it’s like to have a crush, but hopefully, if you’re lucky, you’ll never know what it’s like to feel crushed by love," says Twinnie about the song. "This song is about missing the potential of what could have been - when someone does a 180 on you and their feelings completely switch. I wrote this song with Brandon Paddock a few years ago, and I’ve always loved its crossover appeal. It’s a sad story, but it has a happy groove. It was inspired by Whitney Houston’s 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' - a love song that’s left open-ended, hoping that love will return, all while making you want to dance to the beat.”

Now the song has an appropriately tongue-in-cheek video to go with it as the castle of torture that she's imprisoned herself in is brought to life as a 70s style basement with heart shaped balloons and pillows and a landline for her to further torture herself with.
