Thomas Rhett has shared a tantalising teaser for a genre-blurring new collaboration with chart-topping DJ, Marshmello. And no, we're glad to say this is not an April Fool's.

The clip begins with a shot of Rhett's legs, initially leaving fans confused as to what was in store, before the camera pans up to show him munching from a bag of marshmallows. In the caption, he playfully writes, “The young kids would call this a teaser”.

Marshmello - whose real name is Christopher Comstock - has responded in the comments with the “looking eyes” emojis via Instagram. Similarly, on TikTok, the DJ has seemingly confirmed he's been cooking up some heat with TR, “Oh, this is a teaser alright”.

It marks the latest in Marshmello's string of country-leaning collaborations, with the ‘Happier’ hitmaker linking up with Hudson Westbrook in September 2025 for ‘Better Man Than Me’. This arrived a month after his joint track with Jelly Roll, ‘Holy Water’.

Last summer, Marshmello surprised fans at Nashville's CMA Fest with a star-studded set at Spotify House, bringing out Ashley Cooke, Westbrook, Kane Brown and Dasha.

Marshmello and Brown, in particular have a stellar track record of collaborative country-EDM - or “YeeDM”, as it is often called - anthems, such as ‘One Thing Right’ and ‘Miles On It’.

With Rhett's ability to seamlessly navigate various sub-genres and textures from R&B, Hip Hop and Pop combining with Marshmello's ear for a killer, dance-floor-filling hook, we can't wait to hear what these two trailblazers have up their sleeves.
