Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan have ensured country music retains its strong presence among the year's biggest hitters, with both making it into Spotify's Top Five most streamed artists in the US, as part of the streaming platforms new Wrapped unveiling.

With the keenly awaited arrival of Spotify Wrapped, which the company teased last week on socials, the Top Five US ranking has now been confirmed, with Taylor Swift taking the No. 1 spot. The global megastar has also secured the leading position on the Global ranking, with Taylor's lauded 2024 record, The Tortured Poets Department, being crowned Spotify's most streamed album of the year globally.

Completing the list of the Top Five most streamed artists in the US is Drake at No. 2, followed by Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen and Kanye West at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

Given how Taylor Swift, Drake and Kanye West are undoubtedly three of the biggest artists of the 21st century, it's particularly impressive that Morgan and Zach have made the cut, placing them ahead of the likes of Travis Scott, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar.

Despite not releasing a new album in 2024, over the course of the year, Morgan Wallen has racked up a whopping tally of 105 million listeners and 5.64 billion streams.

The Sneedville hitmaker has been listened to in 184 countries, with his most streamed track the blockbuster Post Malone collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, which drew 75 million listeners and 745 million plays, and spent 6 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In addition, Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan feature in Spotify's Top Ten most streamed albums of 2024, with Morgan's One Thing At A Time remarkably holding onto the No. 2 spot, despite being released almost two years ago in March 2023.

Morgan Wallen's 2021 project, Dangerous, appears at No. 8, while Zach Bryan's self-titled 2023 record slots in at No. 9. These impressive feats consolidate Morgan and Zach's status as the two biggest country acts in the modern landscape, with each artist adding fuel to the fire amidst the genre's explosion in popularity.
