It's official - Treaty Oak Revival have confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) that they've started work on their new album, which serves as the follow-up to 2023's Have a Nice Day.
Although the Red Dirt rockers’ debut offering, 2021's No Vanacy, earned the band a cult following, Have a Nice Day launched the troubadours into a whole new stratosphere, with many mainstream country listeners becoming aware of the group for the first time.
The project spawned fan-favourite anthems such as ‘Stop & Stare’, ‘In Between’, ‘See You in Court’ and ‘I'm the Worst’, with Have a Nice Day showcasing Treaty Oak Revival's edgier, grungier twist on the classic Red Dirt Country sound.
There aren't too many details surrounding Treaty Oak Revival's forthcoming third studio album just yet, but the Texas band's new X post has undoubtedly stoked the flames of anticipation ahead of the project. The fast-emerging group has accompanied a photo from the studio with the tantalising caption, “So it begins #album3”.
Given the fact that No Vacancy dropped in 2021 and Have a Nice Day arrived two years later, it certainly seems that we're due a new Treaty Oak Revival album at some point in 2025.
Treaty Oak Revival released ‘Happy Face’, back in September 2024, with the angsty, heartbroken offering expected to serve as the lead single from their forthcoming record. Last summer, the band hinted that an acoustic project might be en route, but judging by their latest X teaser, it looks like they're readying a full studio album.
The news follows the bizarre phenomenon on Ticketmaster, during which some Treaty Oak Revival re-sale tickets to their 2025 tour were being listed for an eye-watering $1 million. The group kick off this year's run with a double-header in Tulsa, Oklahoma next week.
