Shaboozey has teased what appears to be a forthcoming music video for his song 'Highway.'
In a post on social media, the artist shared a brief visual that depicted him on a long stretch of road, attempting to thumb down a ride. "'HIGHWAY' out this Friday" was all the caption read.
'Highway' appeared on the hitmaker's third studio album, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going; and it's upcoming visual, set to drop on Friday (Sept. 20), will join the star's recent slate of high-energy music videos for other album offerings.
To accompany the summer release of Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going, Shaboozey has steadily unveiled a number of cinema-worthy music videos, setting off to beautiful Western locales as seen in the visual to 'Let It Burn' or dropping fans in immersive party atmospheres like the one unfolding in the debaucherous 'Drink Don't Need No Mix'. From the short glimpse at what's to arrive on Friday, the video for 'Highway' seems set to mirror the former.
The news of the new video follows shortly after Shaboozy secured his first-ever CMA Awards nominations, receiving nods for New Artist of the Year, as well as Single of the Year for his smash hit, 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)'. The tune also recently notched its seventh nonconsecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100, making it this year's longest reigning No. 1 single.
His first headlining tour is currently in full swing. The multi-city Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going tour will see the star through the early fall, taking him to some of his largest venues to date across North American cities like Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, and more.
